Computex 2010 Day 1: Gigabyte shows off X58A-UD9, Notebooks, Tablets

Notebooks, Tablet, and 5870 Super OverclockAnother cool product on display was the Gigabyte Q1585N Notebook. Leveraging the power of Intel's Clarkdale CPU and HD GPU, this 15.6" LED backlight notebook can provide a rich multimedia experience that sips power. In the photo above you can see it is playing back a 3D video.
Up next was their ultra-thin M1405, which has a sleek yet soft and stylish brushed aluminum finish showing off an elegant design. Performance is enhanced with Smart Turbo Technology that offers a quick and easy overclock for both novice and expert users. The LED Backlit LCD panel features HD ready quality up to 720p.
The uniquely innovative Docking Station features a Desktop Class nVidia® GeForce® GT 220 Graphics Processor and HDMI delivering the most superb user experience allowing users to connect up to 3 Displays. A few of the highlights are a 6 cell 3600mAh battery, wireless b/g/n, Core 2 Duo CPU, a fingerprint reader, and a webcam. The M1405 is available in Dark Blue, Wine Red, Bright Gold and Silver colors.
The T1000P is the next generation multi-touch netvertible from Gigabyte. This tablet/netvertible improves existing designs by featuring a swiveling and locking multi-touch screen with a multi-touch touchpad, providing easy, responsive multi- touch control and handwriting recognition input options. A wide variety of connectivity options are available with the latest Bluetooth and Wireless LAN technologies and optional 3.5G Upgradeability to provide wireless freedom on the move. An HD Ready, 10.1" LED backlit LCD provides a bright, vivid display and 720p HD quality.
Here you can see the T1000P being used with a stylus in Windows 7. Gigabyte includes custom software that quickly and easily launches applications to rotate the screen and to open the drawing/writing utility.
Finally we leave you with an image of the Gigabyte 5870 Super Over Clock. Based on the standard Radeon HD 5870 GPU, each GPU core is binned and paired to a custom PCB with extra gold and other features to ensure it will reach some impressive overclocked speeds.
