Resident Evil 5

Resident Evil 5 is a survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom. Resident Evil 5 features similar game play to Resident Evil 4, with context-sensitive controls and dynamic cut scenes also making a return. The player can control Chris Redfield or Sheva Alomar in a similar fashion to Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil 4 with the same over-the-shoulder perspective.

All in game settings were set to their maximum. We used 4xAA for all of our performance tests in Resident Evil 5.

Benchmark Results: Resident Evil 5 shows that the GeForce GTX 465's can hold their own against the Radeon HD 5830 as expected. What threw me for a loop was the performance in SLI. At 1280x1024 we saw a little bit of a performance hit -- less that 3%, though. At 1920x1080 the GeForce GTX 465's did scale better, and we saw a gain of ~15FPS. I do suspect that we may see better scaling the higher resolution you game at.
