Test System

System as Tested

All testing was done on a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit with all the latest updates installed. All benchmarks were completed on the desktop with no other software programs running, aside from Steam for the games, and Game Booster to cut back on the needless processes that Windows 7 provides for regular end-users. The G.Skill DDR3 1600 kit was run as 1344MHz at CL7-7-7-20 timings, The Kingston SSD was used as a boot drive with Benchmarks and all games were run from a Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB secondary HDD. The Corsair H50 was used in a push-pull fan configuration exhausting outside the case, with only a front case intake fan utilized. Other fans were in place, but unplugged.

In the GPUz sensors tab you can see that the fan speed only varies slightly going on and off full load; it doesn't make large steps like many other cards do.
