3DMark Vantage is the new industry standard PC gaming performance benchmark from Futuremark, newly designed for Windows Vista and DirectX 10. It includes two new graphics tests, two new CPU tests, several new feature tests, and support for the latest hardware. 3dMark Vantage is based on a completely new rendering engine, developed specifically to take full advantage of DirectX 10, the new graphics API from Microsoft.

3dMark Vantage Benchmark Results

Benchmark Results: The L3 cache of the AMD Phenom II 910e allowed the HIS Radeon HD 5870 a little bit more room to run than the Athlon II series. However, the higher clock speeds of the AMD Athlon II X4 640 did give us better performance on the CPU tests.
