The box the ECO A.L.C. comes in is very simple.
On one side there is a line drawing of the ECO A.L.C. that points out the various parts with brief explanations. The ECO A.L.C. supports all of the current sockets from both AMD and Intel. The unit comes preset for Intel systems. All that's needed for the AMD camp is a simple bracket swap on the pump and you're ready to go.
The other side has the specifications listed. It also states "CoolIT has focused on offering superior cooling technology, whisper quiet operation and ultra compact design, assuring maximum compatibility with any case that has a 120mm fan." This is nice for those with odd cases like those used by Dell and HP that tend to be narrower than most enthusiast cases and don't allow for a massive tower cooler (which has the tendency to be over 6" in height).
Pulling it out of the box the ECO A.L.C. is packed in Styrofoam.
The top holds the AMD mounting tabs, as well as the Intel LGA backing plates. The instructions are also simple. They come in 3 languages (English, French, and Dutch), and even if you don't read any of those you can get an idea from the illustrations. They are very well done and more often than not, an image is worth a 1,000 words.
Cradled inside and wrapped in plastic is the ECO A.L.C. itself.
