HD Tune Pro v4.01
HD Tune Pro 4.01 is an extended version of HD Tune which includes many new features such as write benchmark, secure erasing, AAM setting, folder usage view, disk monitor, command line parameters and file benchmark.
Benchmark Results: The JMicron controllers do not like this benchmark although the reads fare better than the writes. The Zephyr averaged only 210MB/s and the burst speed is a paltry 137.8MB/s although the latter is an improvement over the JMF618 equipped Kingston V Series 128GB drive.
Benchmark Results: We've seen this schizophrenic-looking graph from other JMicron controllers and, as mentioned, we only see this on the HD Tune Pro benchmark. As a result, the scores don't reflect well although the burst rate does come out smelling like a rose.
Benchmark Results: The controller does much better with the file benchmark, hitting expected scores with consistency. This is more indicative of the drive performance.
