HD Tune Pro v4.01
HD Tune Pro 4.01 is an extended version of HD Tune which includes many new features such as write benchmark, secure erasing, AAM setting, folder usage view, disk monitor, command line parameters and file benchmark.
Benchmark Results: The Kingston 30GB V Series boot SSD reads are exceeding what we have seen so far and remain pretty steady throughout the duration of the benchmark. The result was consistent over 3 different iterations of the benchmark which is impressive when the rated specification of 180MB/s is taken into consideration.
Benchmark Results: Writes were another story. The average was a little below specifications but there were large inconsistencies as it progressed with a span of nearly 30MB/s variance between the minimum and maximum speeds.
Benchmark Results: The reads on this benchmark seem a little lower than what we have been seeing but the writes are right where they are expected to be and were pretty consistent.
