3DMark Vantage

3DMark Vantage is the new industry standard PC gaming performance
benchmark from Futuremark, newly designed for Windows Vista and
DirectX10. It includes two new graphics tests, two new CPU tests,
several new feature tests, and support for the latest hardware. 3DMark
Vantage is based on a completely new rendering engine, developed
specifically to take full advantage of DirectX10.

Testing was run with the 'Performance' preset shown above at 1280x1024,
as well as the more demanding 1920 x 1080, 'High' preset.

Benchmark Results: On the High preset, the PNY GT 240 runs very close to, but still above the AXLE GT 240 by 7 or 8 3DMarks, which is to be expected as again, both cards are based off the NVIDIA reference clocks.

Benchmark Results: On the Performance preset, the AXLE GT 240 is ahead of the PNY GT 240 by an even smaller margin, both with still a solid gain over the 9600 GSO and HD 4670 as DirectX 10 applications seem to prefer the newer GT215 core.
