Retail Box & Bundle
On the front of the retail box, you see the standard PCIe interface logo as well as logos for GDDR5, PhysX, CUDA, HDMI, and a certification for the new Windows 7 Operating System. The main things you notice are the VERTO and GeForce logos, as well as the two stickers for free movie downloads and the vReveal video enhancement software, which will be talked about below with the bundle.
The back of the box features adverts for PNY's other hardware (Memory Modules, SSDs and Flash memory) above the XLR8 Gaming logo. On the right side, you see the standard "why you need this card" type advertisements. On the lower middle section of the box you see the cutout for the card's UPC code to verify it is the proper card, as well as the PNY warranty information.
On the left, you see NVIDIA adverts as an OEM, while on the right you see basic card specifications, features, system requirements, and package contents.
The PNY VERTO GeForce GT 240 bundle is pretty simple: no connectors/converters, just the card, installation CD, and foldout quick installation guide with three languages. The quick install guide walks you through a 6-step install process with plenty of pictures and two 8.5" x 11" pages per language.
The installation CD features graphics drivers for Windows Vista / 7 and legacy DirectX 9 drivers for XP or older, as well as a user guide, registration link and a 'Bonus Software' page shown below.
For extras, PNY included several NVIDIA and PNY wallpapers in varying sizes as well as a trial version of vReveal video editing software as listed on the box.
