Conclusion

First up I should mention this pot will retail for $169. This price is fantastic considering how well the pot was in both dry ice and liquid nitrogen testing. Unlike the first revision with which I had mixed feelings, this revision has me feeling quite positive. I still feel my K|ngp|n Dragon F1EE is a slightly better pot however the F1EE is a more expensive pot that is the result of many revisions. Seeing how much has changed between Rev1 and Rev2 of the CPU-LN2, I can't wait to see Rev3.
For dry ice benching the Koolance CPU-LN2 Rev2 improved upon decent performance in the first revision and thoroughly discouraged me from re-testing the F1EE on dry ice. Considering how the first CPU-LN2 bested the F1EE and the CPU-LN2 Rev2 bested the Rev1 I imagine the Rev2 would make quick work of the F1EE. With a little over 2 cups of internal volume the CPU-LN2 Rev2 is very user friendly. You can pack enough dry ice in there to run through several benchmarks before having to refill the pot.

Liquid nitrogen performance on the Rev2 is so far improved that it is surprising the Rev1 and Rev2 came from the same company. The rather radical change in design is responsible for this excellent LN2 performance and with a few more tweaks will really fly with heavy loads. Intel's upcoming Gulftown hex-core processors have already been shown to run hotter than current Bloomfield quad-core processors but I feel the CPU-LN2 Rev2 will easily handle Gulftown. I wasn't able to include Clarkdale results due to killing my Clarkdale before the tests however after seeing how little swing there was with the Bloomfield through wPrime 1024M Clarkdale should barely even register. In closing Koolance's second attempt at a LN2 pot is what I'd consider to be a success on all fronts.
Legit Bottom Line: Competitive pricing with great dry ice and liquid nitrogen performance makes the CPU-LN2 Rev2 a well rounded cooling product.
