Shattered Horizon

Shattered Horizon is a multiplayer first-person shooter where players fight in zero gravity surrounded by the broken remains of Earth's orbital infrastructure and billions of tons of rocky debris thrown into orbit by a huge explosion on the Moon. In Shattered Horizon, players have complete freedom of movement. They can make full use of the space setting and zero gravity to set up tactics and strategies that would be impossible in games constrained by gravity.

Since this is a DirectX 10-only game that is similar in graphics quality to 3DMARK Vantage, At both resolutions medium equivalent settings were used, shown above with 2x MSAA and Ambient Occlusion on, on the International Space Station map.

With the aforementioned settings, this game is hardly playable on any of the cards even at low resolutions, though the HD 4670 is well behind, not having an on-board physics engine. The AXLE GT 240 does manage to put out almost 50% better rates at 1920 x 1080 than the 9600 GSO, so again the frame buffer prevails, with the lower resolutions putting the two NVIDIA offerings very close to each other.
