CrystalDiskMark v2.2
CrystalDiskMark is a small HDD benchmark utility for your hard drive that enables you to rapidly measure sequential and random read/write speeds.
Benchmark Results: On the 50MB test, the Patriot Torqx 120GB neared the specifications for both read and write for the sequential test. Performance was excellent overall, especially when compared to other drives below.
Benchmark Results: The 100MB test results were very close to the 50MB test and scaled pretty much the same. These are very good scores for each and I received consistent results every time this benchmark was executed.
50MB Files Test Comparison Chart:
Comparison Chart: Again the Patriot Torqx leads the pack in reads, but by a slim margin. Not surprisingly, the Vertex SLC drive led the rest of the scores but the Torqx had a good showing as compared to the remaining drives.
