Kingston and Game Skulls
Kingston Technology had Annie "Ecstasy" Leung - the Guitar Hero pro-gamer in their booth that was playing against Quakecon 2009 attendees who wanted to see how good she really is in person.
Kingston was also showing off both their HyperX DDR3/DDR2 memory series, and their recently released Kingston HyperX Fan. We reviewed this fast last week so be sure to check out our full review on it if you are interested in how active memory works.
We've never heard of the Game Skulls GS-1 Tactical Helmet, but it is a gaming headset that looks like a military helmet. They were being sold for $89.95 with a t-shirt at Quakecon.
They were made out of plastic and were pretty basic in design, just like a real military helmet. These helmets feature 50mm headphone drivers and an adjustable headband to accommodate almost any size head.
