SiSoftware Sandra 2009 SP3
SiSoftware Sandra (the System ANalyser, Diagnostic and Reporting Assistant) is an information & diagnostic utility. Sandra provides most of the information (including undocumented) you need to know about your hardware, software and other devices whether hardware or software. In order to test the hard drive, SiSoftware Sandra 2009 SP3 was used as part of the test suite. The graphical results that Sandra gives you after the test is completed nicely shows how drives perform over time and where on the drive the performance is seen.

WRITE Performance Testing:
Benchmark Results: The Intel X25-M 'G2' 34nm 160GB MLC SSD did amazing in Sandra 2009 SP3 and was found to have an average read score of 247MB/s with a write score of 96MB/s. The read and write access times were just 1ms.
Comparison Chart: Just looking at the write access times in the chart above you can tell that the Super Talent MasterDrive OC 64GB and the Kingston SSDNow V Series 128GB MLC SSD both use JMicron 602 controllers. The Intel X25-M 'G2' 34nm 160GB MLC SSD once again pulls out in the lead when it comes to average read performance, but was in the middle of the pack when it comes to write performance.
