HD Tach 3.0.4.0
HD Tach is a low level hardware benchmark for random access read/write storage devices such as hard drives, removable drives (ZIP/JAZZ), flash devices, and RAID arrays. HD Tach uses custom device drivers and other low level Windows interfaces to bypass as many layers of software as possible and get as close to the physical performance of the device possible.

First, the Asus stock 4GB SSD. The average read is 34.8 MB/s--that is slow enough to make anyone annoyed. The random access time is 0.6ms and CPU utilization is at 4%.

Now the Super Talent drive. The average read is 103.8 MB/s and that is a nice jump in speed, almost 3 times faster than the stock SSD. Random access time is 0.2ms, but the CPU utilization went up to 8%.
