Aorus is debuting a sleek new gaming laptop at CES 2014 this week. The Aorus X7 is one of the thinnest and most powerful laptop out there now, which is saying something about the design work that went into it. At the heart of the X7 is an Intel Core i7 processor and is backed up by a pair of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765m Graphics cards in NVIDIA SLI (Scalable Link Interface)! If that’s not enough, the X7 also has four DIMM slots that will support up to 32GB of the latest high performance SODIMM DRAM! The technology alone that is in the Aorus X7 is impressive and is sure to have plenty of gaming horsepower for the foreseeable future, but if that’s not enough for you there is certainly more to come.

Gaming laptops are typically quite large, heavy and generally not the most portable of laptops. The Aorus X7 is one of the thinnest and lightest out there today. The Aoros X7 weighs in at only 6.39 pounds, or 2.9Kg, nearly 1.5 pounds lighter than the last gaming notebook we looked at, the Cyberpower Fangbook. More impressive than the lighter weight of the X7 is the dimensions, the Aorus x7 is only .9 inches (22.9mm) thick! The aforementioned Fangbook is 2.17″ thick! That’s less than half the thickness of the Fangbook!

Despite the Aorus X7 being so light and small it looks like it will pack one big punch! According to our sources the Aorus X7 is capable of pulling out a score of P7393 in 3DMark11 which is no small feat for a gaming notebook!
