Antec Introduces The First BTX Computer Case: BK640B

By

Antec has just launched its first MicroBTX case the BK640B. Antec claims that the BK640B ensures optimal performance and quiet computing for today’s high-powered components such as motherboards, processors and video cards. Who said that BTX is dead? If it was then companies like Antec wouldn’t be launching cases for BTX platforms.

The case supports MicroBTX form factor motherboards with a maximum board width of 264mm. It also comes equipped with the 380W Universal Input Active Power Factor Correction (PFC) ATX12V 2.0 power supply unit (PSU). This PFC ensures high efficiency within the system. For maximum expandability, the case also provides six drive bays – two 3.5″ internal, two 5.25″ external and two 3.5″ external. Additionally, the chassis includes several conveniently front mounted ports: two external USB 2.0 ports, one FireWire( port and audio connectors.
