AMD Ryzen Processor Box Art Revealed

By

Good morning, are you ready to start the day with some AMD Ryzen box art? The box design that popped up on a site from Thailand is simple, with an all black box and just the AMD Ryzen logo on the front with a small description on the side. The box looks like it would be large enough to come with a HSF (Heatsink Fan) of some sort. We aren’t for certain this is the actual design that AMD will be using or if it was just done by the retailer as they needed an image for the listing.

In other Ryzen news a Belgian online retailer (Google Cache) has already started taking pre-orders for three Ryzen 7 CPUs. That particular retailer has already pulled the listings, makes us think they are credible, and had two two SKUs with different pricing for each Ryzen 7 CPU. Could this mean that AMD will be offering Ryzen 7 CPUs with and without a CPU cooler? The leaked prices are slightly higher than what we’ve seen prior to this, but you need to keep in mind that these were pre-order prices. Both AMD Ryzen 7 1700 processors were priced at 319 Euro, which is odd though.

AMD: Ryzen 7 1700 3.7GHZ 8 CORE 65W (YD1700BBM88AE) 319 $336

One thing that you may also find interesting is that a Belgian online retailer has listed that AMD Ryzen processors would be in-stock on February 28th, 2017. That just happens to be the same day as the AMD ‘Capsaicin and Cream’ event at GDC 2017 that we told you about yesterday. We didn’t think AMD would be launching Ryzen during an event created by the Radeon Technologies Group, but you never know!
