AMD felt that now is the right time to update the Never Settle Forever game bundle and did so today with a radical overhaul that gives customers a wider selection of game choices on more Radeon R9 and R7 video cards than ever before. We have long wanted AMD to widen the range of discrete graphics cards that are involved in their game bundling promotions and they finally have!
There are still three tiers of graphics cards with the AMD Radeon R7 240 being the lowest level discrete GPU that is eligible for game rewards. With the new program rules the AMD Radeon R9 295X2, R9 290 series and R9 280 series are in the Radeon Gold Reward tier with three free games. The AMD Radeon R9 270 series and Radeon R7 260 series are in the Radeon Silver Reward Tier with two free games and the AMD Radeon R7 250 series and Radeon R7 240 are in the Radeon Bronze Reward tier with one free game.
The big game title that AMD is leading off with is Square Enix’s upcoming ‘Murdered: Soul Suspect’. Murdered: Soul Suspect will be available to Radeon Gold and Silver Rewards tiers. Murdered: Soul Suspect comes out this summer on June 3rd, 2014, but can be reserved on Radeon Rewards starting today (April 21st).
Thief is still available, but now available to both the gold and silver tiers. This was the AMD TrueAudio launch game title and was released on February 25th 2014.
AMD has also added for the independent game titles for the first time. AMD believes they are the first to offer indie game titles with the announcement that The Banner Saga, Dyad, Guacamelee! and Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack would be available to get with the reward program. When you choose an indie game title you get two pick two game titles as one of your game choices. This is pretty cool and gives gamers the ability to pick up one big studio game title or two indie games per game credit. Gamers can save their codes in anticipation of upcoming game titles, so if you get a code right now you can hold that code until August 31, 2014. Once you enter in your code you must pick all of your game titles at that time. You can’t pick one title and then save the others for another time. Since you have to use them all at once, you are basically rolling the dice to see if the game titles now are the best way to go or the ones later down the line with the game titles are refreshed.
AMD plans on adding more games to this in the future. The refreshed Never Settle Forever starts today at participating retailers. Currently this is the entire list of games being offered by the promotion:
