Activision is one of the biggest companies in the gaming world right now having three of the top franchises: Call of Duty, Skylanders, and Guitar Hero under their belts. Not only do we expect to see these franchises at next week’s Electronic Entertainment Expo – better known as E3, but we are excited to see expect to see some titles getting pre-show buzz.

Activisions top franchise will certainly be back in black at this year show with its newest entry, Call of Duty: Black Ops III. With multiple cinematic teasers released throughout the month of April and a full reveal trailer dropping on April 26th this is shaping up to be one of the most cinematic games in the franchise. Of course there will still be the intense, fast paced multiplayer everyone knows and loves these games for as well as the extremely popular zombies mode. Call of Duty: Black Ops III is slated to release November 6th 2015. One thing that still remains to be seen however, is whether or not the exclusive partnership between Activision and Microsoft with the Call of Duty franchise continues.

Activision Skylanders Superchargers

Next up is Activisions other top franchise, Skylanders. The newest set of Skylanders code named Superchargers looks to add quite a bit to the already well established action/platforming gameplay of the Skylanders. We can expect some new Skylanders and new vehicles to be revealed at the show. The game releases September 20th, 2015.

Breathing life back into one of the most popular gaming franchises of all time, Activision looks to return to the stage this year with Guitar Hero: Live. This looks to be the most intense guitar hero ever, incorporating more of a real world aesthetic. With a fall 2015 release date announced there will certainly be some more news on this coming from E3.

Activision Destiny

Activision Destiny The Taken KingAnother very interesting piece in Activisions possible E3 lineup is the new Destiny: The Taken King expansion. It was leaked earlier this week that the expansion will include a subclass for the games three classes as well as a new weapon for each of the classes. The leak also gave a release date of September 15th 2015. There has been no confirmation from Bungie regarding the leak so we look forward to gaining more information from the show’s floor.

Activision Blizzard-Overwatch

A possibly sleeper hit for Activision at this years show could be Overwatch a first person MOBA revealed last year at Blizzcon. Considering Activision and Blizzard are technically one company, hopefully theyll have some more information on it for E3. In fact, Activision-Blizzard has slowly been releasing gameplay footage on their YouTube channel. We expect this to be a very popular title.
